Welcome to Baby Steps with AI

Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant idea reserved for scientists, engineers, or large technology companies. It is becoming part of everyday life — shaping how people work, communicate, learn, create, and make decisions. Yet for many people, AI still feels confusing, intimidating, or difficult to understand.

Baby Steps with AI was created to change that. This platform exists to make artificial intelligence clear, approachable, and empowering for everyday people. It is a welcoming space for beginners, curious learners, professionals, seniors, students, and anyone who wants to understand the growing role of AI in the modern world without feeling overwhelmed by technical language.

Created by leonard j mckinzy, Baby Steps with AI is built on a simple belief: the future should be understandable to everyone. Artificial intelligence is one of the most important forces shaping society today. It affects education, healthcare, business, communication, creativity, finance, and everyday life. Understanding it is no longer optional for people who want to stay informed, adaptable, and confident in a changing world.

Baby Steps with AI helps bridge the gap between complex technology and human understanding. Through books, educational resources, and beginner-friendly learning tools, this platform breaks artificial intelligence down into simple, practical ideas that real people can relate to. The goal is not just to explain AI, but to help people feel comfortable with it, think critically about it, and learn how to use it responsibly.

This is more than a book brand. It is an AI literacy platform. It is a place where curiosity is welcomed, questions are encouraged, and growth happens one step at a time.

Whether you are here to understand the basics, explore how AI affects your daily life, or think more deeply about the future of intelligence, you are in the right place.

Learn clearly. Think confidently. Step into the future with understanding.

Why I built this

I am not a programmer. I have no computer science background and no interest in getting one.

I am a pastor and a business owner, and at 61 I sat down to learn AI the same way everyone else does — by reading things that assumed I already understood them. Every guide started three steps past where I was. Most of them made me feel stupid for asking.

So I learned it the slow way, wrote down what actually worked, and built the course I wish somebody had handed me.

That is the whole story. If you have been nodding along in conversations about AI and quietly hoping nobody asks you a follow-up question, you are exactly who this was built for.

Baby Steps with AI is the free front door into everything here — a five-module course with a real certificate, free prompt packs, and more on the way. The four-book series is the only thing for sale.
